How to Activate DJI Enterprise Shield Renew

If your DJI Enterprise Shield protection plan is expiring soon, chances are you want to renew your coverage. The first step in renewing your Shield coverage is to track the expiration date. This sounds like a no brainier, but the date always creeps up faster than you think, and if you don't stay on top of it you might miss the window. To check the expiration date, go to service.dji.com/djicare/coverage and enter your aircraft or payload's serial number.

Next, you want to check to see if your equipment is eligible for DJI Shield Renew before you place an order. These two requirements have to be met in order to qualify for Shield Renew:

  1. The original Shield plan can not be expired. So, this means that you need to purchase and activate Renew before the expiration date of the original Shield plan.
  2. You must have at least one accident remaining from your original Shield plan. This means that you will not be eligible for Renew if you covered two accidents under the original plan.

Next, you have to purchase a DJI Shield code from a DJI Enterprise dealer, like Terrestrial Imaging. While we typically have codes in stock, be sure to contact us ahead of time, because sometimes codes have to be ordered. This can take a couple of days so it is important not to wait until the last minute.

Typically at Terrestrial Imaging, the order is the last step in the process as we will conveniently activate your DJI Shield Renew for you. If you would like to activate it yourself, you simply go to service.dji.com/care/active and enter in the Shield Renew code and your equipment's serial number. After this, you will want to confirm that it has been activated by visiting service.dji.com/djicare/coverage, and enter in the equipment's serial number again.
